My younger son, age 11, has three severe, life threatening food allergies. We allow him a lot of freedom in the neighborhood because his friends parents understand his situation and are comfortable with epipens. I want to start allowing him more freedom- like to go to the park with friends- but I am not confident that if he needed to épi himself he would have the composure or courage to do it. He has anxiety. Do any of you have food allergic kids? What limits do you set? Thanks!
