Ready to give your kids a delicious taste of independence this summer? Say hello to the Let Grow Summer Challenge, a series of fun activities to get your kids thinking, doing, running, sunning -- and leaving the couch far behind!
Even better, we put those activities onto a beautiful mini-poster. Behold...
You can download a high-resolution file of the poster on letter-size paper or as an 11 x 17 version that's great for bedroom walls and refrigerator doors.
Now for the Summer Independence Challenge rules: There are no rules! But when your child completes any challenge on the list, we'd love you to share your photos and videos with us. For the month of August, we are running a contest where you can win an awesome new Let Grow t-shirt by sharing your child doing their challenges.
Here's how to enter:
- If you haven't already, download the Summer Independence Challenge poster.
- Capture photos or videos of your child doing or completing any of the challenges. Tip: If your child did something on their own without you there or nearby, consider interviewing them about the experience afterward!
- Post photos and videos as a comment on this Facebook post and describe the challenge your child did and share any fun details or observations. You can also your entries with the hashtag #LetThem.
- Oh, and maybe there's one rule...but really it's just a strong suggestion: spread the word! Let your fellow social media friends and parents know about it. Share this post and let's inspire as many people as we can.
Winners will win a Let Grow T-shirt in their desired style and color. Winners will be chosen at the end of the month. You can see all of the contest rules here: https://letg.ro/2YC6nvy
Let the Summer Challenge (okay, Mid-Summer Challenge) begin!
