Older kids took to their bikes, learned to skateboard, and cooked dinner for their families. One enterprising fifth grader was thrilled to report that she’d earned some money doing yardwork for her neighbors!
Kindergarteners and younger students are pitching in around the house, washing the dishes, and getting ready for school by themselves.
One mom of kids age 7 and 9 marveled, “They’re actually doing things that WE did as kids, because I’m holding myself back and letting them.”
