We’ve been putting out a new calendar each month to encourage independence, and for the June calendar, we’re focusing on creativity. Here are some of the challenges you’ll find:
- Make up your own recipe.
- Create something out of cardboard.
- Complete a YouTube tutorial.
- Sew something.
There are so many ways to be creative, and they can all be wonderful ways to encourage independence. When kids have the ability to explore new hobbies and experiences, creativity thrives. If you’re looking for more ideas and activities, check out our I’m Bored Kit. It has lots of ways for kids to stay busy and will push them to try new things. The June calendar is available in two different sizes. You can also get the list of things (without a calendar) by filling out the quick form below. Thanks and happy creating!
