It’s a great month to be outside digging in the dirt! Following up on our April calendar, which centered on the Love Your Planet Challenge, we decided to focus on gardening this month. Here are some of the to-dos you’ll find on the May calendar,:
- Volunteer at a community garden.
- Grow something you can eat.
- Plan flowers for the bees.
Whether you love growing veggies and are planning a victory garden or you just have patio space and need to stick to containers, there’s something for everyone. All the items are great to pair with our Independence Kit to encourage kids to do things on their own. Yes, there are plenty of things kids can do on their own when it comes to gardening. You can get two different calendar sizes or just the list by filling out the quick form below. Thanks and happy gardening!
