Girl, 9, Bitten by Shark Goes Back into the Water at Same Florida Beach!
You don’t get more Let Grow than Maggie Crum, bitten by a shark in knee-deep water on her first vacation to New Smyrna Beach, FL, which The Today Show (but probably not the New Smyrna Beach Chamber of Commerce) calls “The Shark Bite Capital of the World.”
After getting 12 stitches she — and her family — returned to the beach to go BACK IN THE WATER.
How do you get that brave as a kid? As a parent? (And if you’re a sibling, you seem to be stuck going in with none of the glory and all of the calf exposure.)
If you have a story of getting back on the horse (or shark) after a scary incident, we’d en-jaw hearing it!
