There's no big Let Grow message to this story, except for the fact that a mom let her son do something by himself, trusting him and the world.
Which, come to think of it, is the essence of Let Grow.
Alexa Bjornson put her son Landon on a Las Vegas to Oregon flight with a $10 bill for the whatever stranger ended up sitting next to him. This was to serve as a little thank you, because she was pretty certain that Landon would pester him or her with a lot of, "Are we there yet?"s. She also gave her son a note for the seatmate that explained that he has high functioning autism.
As you can see from the mom's Facebook post, Landon had the good fortune of sitting next to a very decent human being named Ben Pedraza. They ended up joking around, and playing rock-paper-scissors.
May we all have such grace -- and such a good time!
Let's hear it for humanity.
