Kids need to play on their own. We know how beneficial free and unstructured play is for children (check out this article for more information), so now we need to step back and do it. That is, adults need to step back and let kids do it. We put together this kit to help adults take a backseat in organizing and planning kid free time.
This printable kit stems from our school program, Let Grow Play Club. You can learn more about our school programs here. This kit has everything you need to get started encouraging free play in your parent group, neighborhood play group, community organization, or school. It includes:
- A parent letter
- A pledge for parents and kids
- A printable sign
- Activities for kids to do on their own like our popular backyard game cards
